Pooneh Oshidari was born in Tehran, Iran in 1984. She received her bachelors and masters degrees in Fine Art from Tehran University. She also is a member of the Society of Iranian Painters. As an illustrator as well as a painter, she brings her skills together seamlessly, choosing a color palette that is very earthy and organic. Her impressionist style has been compared to pieces like Gauguin’s “Tahitian Women on the Beach.” Oshidari is making groundbreaking images and her popularity is growing with every show at which she exhibits.
